Cookie & Consent Policy
Last updated September 1, 2026
This Policy explains exactly what is stored on your device when you visit alchemizedprinciplesofpower.org, what consent signals we transmit, and how you can grant, narrow or withdraw permission at any moment. Non-essential storage stays switched off until you choose otherwise.
1. Consent-first by design
When you first arrive, every non-essential signal on this site is set to "denied" before any measurement tag is allowed to run. We implement Google Consent Mode v2, which means the states ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage and personalization_storage all default to denied, while functionality_storage and security_storage remain granted because the site cannot load or defend itself without them. Your decision is transmitted to our tags as a consent update the moment you make it, and it is recorded on your device with a timestamp so we can evidence what you agreed to and when.
2. Change your choices at any time
You are never locked in. Use the button below to reopen the preference panel, adjust any category, or reject everything. Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately, and we also attempt to delete the measurement cookies previously set in your browser.
3. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — always active. Supports page delivery, security, abuse and bot prevention, error reporting and storing your consent decision itself. No consent is required for these under applicable law, and they cannot be disabled while you use the site.
- Measurement (off by default) — Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity. Used in aggregate to see which pages and articles are read, how far pages are scrolled, and whether retailer links are clicked.
- Content personalization (off by default) — remembers what you have already read so we can surface different articles rather than repeating the same ones.
- Advertising (off by default) — advertising and remarketing signals. We do not currently run advertising campaigns from this site, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Specific technologies you may see
- _ga, _ga_*, _gid, _gat — Google Analytics 4. Distinguish visits and throttle requests. Set only after measurement consent. Typical lifespan: up to 24 months for _ga, 24 hours for _gid.
- _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID — Microsoft Clarity. Aggregate session and heatmap measurement. The Clarity script is not even downloaded until measurement consent is granted.
- Google Tag Manager — a container that loads only the tags permitted by your consent state. It sets no advertising identifiers on its own.
- apop_consent_v2 — first-party local storage entry holding your consent categories, the policy version and the timestamp of your decision. Strictly necessary.
- Site functionality storage — small first-party entries that keep your place in Your Alchemist Profile so you do not lose answers if you refresh.
Cookie names, lifespans and behavior are controlled by the providers and can change without notice on their side. We publish what we know and update this list when we learn of a change.
5. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser or extension transmits a Global Privacy Control signal, or a Do Not Track header, we treat it as a valid opt-out request: non-essential categories are recorded as denied automatically and the preference panel does not interrupt you. You can still open the panel and grant consent manually if you want to, which overrides the signal for this browser.
6. IP handling and data redaction
Analytics requests are configured with IP anonymization and advertising data redaction, and URL passthrough is enabled so basic measurement can function without advertising identifiers. Where consent is denied, Google may still receive cookieless pings that contain no identifiers usable to recognize you across sites; you may block these entirely with browser controls, an extension, or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
7. Blocking storage yourself
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data, run private windows, or restrict third-party storage. Blocking storage will not break this site: all reading, navigation and Your Alchemist Profile continue to work. If you clear your browser data you will also clear your recorded consent decision, and the preference panel will appear again.
8. Third-party pages you leave for
Amazon, YouTube, search engines, social platforms and email providers set their own cookies under their own policies once you leave this site or interact with their embedded content. We do not control that storage. Review their notices for the choices they offer.
9. Changes and contact
When we add, remove or repurpose a technology, we update this Policy, bump the consent policy version, and ask you to choose again where the law requires renewed consent. Questions or consent-related requests may be emailed to Admin@alchemizedprinciplesofpower.org or mailed to EProducts Empire, 336 E College Ave STE 301, Tallahassee, FL 32301, United States.
